100% Chardonnay. Primosic’s Cru Chardonnay is grown on the Collio’s classic Ponca soil – marl, sandstone and clay – in their Gmanje vineyard. The winemaking is fairly classic for Chardonnay, with the fruit hand-picked and then gently pressed to barrels, a mix of barrique and tonneaux, to complete alcoholic and partial malolactic fermentations. The wine rests on lees for 10 months before assemblage and bottling. R&R
