Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero. Lifted and intense nose of sour black cherries intermixed with red, hints of dried herb and baked earth, quite densely fruited, but distinctly savoury, with the classic Rufina elegance channelling the ripeness of the vintage. Ripe almost plush entry on the palate with notes of dry herb and spice and subtle hints of liquorice and chinotto carried through the long and positively savoury finish. R&R
