Abbazia di Novacella is located near the village of Varna at the Northern end of Alto Adige's Isarco Valley. The area's cool alpine climate and mineral-rich soils give these wines their signature freshness and vibrancy. With 850 years of viticultural experience, the Abbey's agricultural includes vineyards in both cool terraced sites for aromatic whites like Kerner and Muller Thurgau, Sylvaner and Pinot Grigio and warmer central areas around Bolzano for indigenous reds like Schiava and Lagrein. The wines are focused, bright and have great drinkability.
