100% Nebbiolo. The estate has 1ha of vines (average of 60 years old) in Villero, in Castiglione Falleto, with a southwest aspect. Clay, Helvetian limestone and a strong presence of iron characterises the soil. The winemaking is traditional with long natural ferments (around 40 days) followed by 6 months in steel to cohere, and then ageing in 35–50hl Slavonian casks for 30 months.

Outstanding result, a classic vintage with plenty of acidity, firm but ripe tannins & perfect balance. The wines are among the most fragrant and complex in years, with finesse. Long ageing up to 30 years. R&R
