Flavio Roddolo is a singular vigneron, and in more ways than one. He does everything himself. From managing the biodynamic viticulture (he’s worked organically for 40 years), right through to making and bottling the wine. And his wines are equally singular, thrillingly taut and territorial expressions that are distinctly individual. 2007 represents a riper vintage in the Langhe, and this impression comes though in Flavio’s wines, though not at the expense of his trademark mineral tension.
