“In the past in our region wine was made like that. These are traditions lost with time and memories to be cherished with one’s childhood.” Rocco Toscani
Made from four rows of Greco vines on the Olmaia vineyard, and in tribute to Massimo who has worked with the family since 1969. That tribute sees it macerated on skins in the old way for 3 days before pressing. Fermentation and 6 months maturation occur in stainless steel, then 6 months ageing in bottle before release. The name, Vedomare, means ‘I see the sea’, referencing the view from Massimo’s home. R&R
