100% Nero d'Avola. A profusion of wild red and black fruits, raspberry, dried cherry and spiced plum overlaid with chalky, tarry mineral notes and dried woody herbs. This is densely fruited, but the main impression is territorial, with the scents of rugged baked earth suffusing the wine. The palate is intense with hints of almond and dark chocolate bound up with grapey tannins and distinct minerality. R&R
