100% Refosco. Refosco is Friuli’s most widely planted autochthonous variety, and, many believe, the variety with the best potential to be the region’s red standard-bearer. Grown in gravelly, chalky soils the fruit is de-stemmed and fermented and macerated for 6–8 days before maturation in concrete vats for 12 months.
