100% Montepulciano from Torre dei Beati’s oldest plantings, the site first planted by Adrianna’s father in 1972. The vineyard is traditionally tended, employing the pergola Abruzzese trellising method. The soils are characterised by clay and limestone, and the viticulture is strictly organic. Grapes are picked over an average of 3 passes to ensure optimal ripeness and berry health before fermentation in steel vats, with total maceration taking about 30 days. The wine is raised in French barriques, with about 70% being new. R&R
