Black cherry notes here supported by plenty of dark spice, tobacco, dried herbs and tarry minerality. There are also some finer, cooler notes coming through giving a freshness and charm to the intensely savoury cast. The palate is quite linear and structured, with fruit intensity seamlessly wound into the firm, but fine, structure. R&R
