70% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot. The vines are planted to classic Tuscan Galestro soils at 250m elevation with a southwest aspect. All fruit is hand-picked and fermented with ambient yeasts. Skin contact varies from 18 to 28 days, depending on variety, and the ferments are both plunged and pumped over. The wine is raised in French barriques for a minimum of 18 months, and is bottled without fining or filtration. R&R
