100% Sagrantino. The fruit is fermented and macerated for an extended period (at least 3 weeks) before malolactic and aging in barriques and tonneaux for 12 months. The wine is then assembled and matured in tank for a further 12 months before being bottled and reserved for another year before release. The wines are typically fragrant with intense red and black fruit accented by dusty spices and a characteristically autumnal and savoury cast. Built to age. R&R
