100% Coda di Volpe. From vines grown at 500 metres, the fruit is hand-picked into small crates before being pressed lightly and fermented cool in stainless steel tanks. The nose is open and quite full, with notes of sour apple, orchard blossom, white peach and a suggestion of Williams pear eau de vie in the background. The palate expresses the volcanic territory clearly with a dry-toned lick of mineral giving the palate real direction and sapid definition through a tightly wound and fresh finish. R&R
